Junipers and pines were the most common evergreen species at the California Shohin Society’s 17th biennial Seminar exhibition. Here are a few that were display.

I only have a few photos of the displays themselves. Most of the show features displays with box stands, while other areas feature a mix of small trees, stands, and accents.

Winter Break, Mammoth Fundraiser, and Book Launch Announcement!

  1. I’ll be taking a brief winter break next week so there will be no new posts until February 18th.
  2. The Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt’s Mammoth Fundraiser is coming up on February 15th and 16th. I’ll be vending on the 16th with a variety of trees, tools, and supplies. Learn more at bonsailakemerritt.com.
