Due to Foster Community Center not being open on June 19th, in recognition of the Juneteenth holiday, the MMBC June monthly meeting will be held on June 18th, Wednesday at Foster Community Center, Room 109, beginning at 7pm-9pm with set up and socializing beginning at 6:30pm.

Our guest speaker is Jack Sustic.  Jack will be providing a critique of the tree(s) you bring to the meeting.  

Bring your bonsai tools and wire.  Jack will provide advice on next steps and then allow you to perform those tasks while he assists the other members.  There is usually time for a second go around to further assist you with the recommended suggestions provided in the first round.  If you only want verbal advice and you do not plan to follow through on the recommendations, then brining a second tree might be possible in the time provided. 

We are fortunate to have Jack Sustic visiting MMBC.  He is the North American Bonsai Federation President and World Bonsai Federation Vice Chair and Director.  Jack is the former Director/curator of the National Bonsai Penjing Museum at the National Arboretum and was interim director/curator of the Matthaei Bonsai Collection in Ann Arbor.
