Former National Bonsai and Penjing Museum curator

Former National Bonsai and Penjing Museum curator Jack Sustic returned to the arboretum last Friday to work on a California Juniper donated to the museum in 2015 by his friend the late Harry Hirao. The tree was collected from the wild and has been in training as a bonsai since 1963!
