Try your hand at stamping goshuin (travel stamps) in our current exhibit, “Sakura Orihon: Diary of a Cherry Blossom Journey.” It is a popular pastime of travelers to collect souvenir stamps in small books called goshuincho. The stamps are available at museums, parks, castles, temples, and many other places in Japan. Originally, these spiritual “passports” gave evidence of visitations to temples and sacred sites. More information on the exhibit, which runs through April 8, available on Eventbrite.
