December, Holidays, Friends Bonsai Party. We meet December 18 at Meijer Gardens for our Holiday Gathering/ Desert or Appetizer Exchange/Food Drive/Party. WHEW that was a mouthful! There will be various prizes (nice ones too) silent auctions, Raffle Drawing for our super Scots Pine (still time to buy a $10 ticket to win a $250+ tree). Here are how things work: When you walk in the door you will get 10 tickets for you to decide where to put tickets to try and win one of the giveaways. Bring 5 food items from our list to support our food drive and receive 10 more tickets Renew your club membership and receive 10 tickets Buy tickets (6 tickets for $5.00 15 tickets for $10.00) We are again this year supporting the East Congregational Church Food Bank They are putting a list together of the items they need and I will post it here soon. This event is open only to currently paid members of the club If not you can join on the spot. (and get an extra 10 prize tickets!) Remember we are asking each member to bring something to share-either a desert or an appetizer. Last years event featured some good food lots of prizes and a couple of nice silent auctions and great fellowship. This year should feature more of the same. Hope to see you there.
