Only 19 days till our next meeting where we will have the rare opportunity to hear a presentation from Jack Sustic, retired curator of the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum at the National Arboretum in Washington DC. Jack is now living in MI and has agreed to give us a slide show of the major trees in the collection, talk about the history of the museum and about how trees are chosen and cared for. He will answer questions as well. This will be pretty special evening for our club. The program starts at 7:00 pm and will be held at the Ball Room at John Ball Zoo. Special Thanks to our member Lisa Rizzo for making this room available to us for this one time event. The Zoo is Located at 1300 West Fulton and the Ball Room is located near the entrance. There is no charge for attending this event. I hope to see you all there.
